The time it takes

For the video in the immediately preceding post:

Equipment:
video camera (Panasonic PV-GS250), firewire cable, destop computer

Software:
windows XP, windows movie maker

Time:

1. Actual video on tape: 7 minutes
2. Setup: 10 minutes (I was on my way to all the places already)
3. Editing: about 30 minutes (I had shot the video in sequence (with one exception) and so only had to cut pieces out)
4. Saving:file: 5 minutes, video for broadband, 150 bps
5. Uploading to youtube: 4 minutes (and I walked away)
6. putting the link on my blog: 2 minutes

Total time: Maybe 75 minutes.
