Guidestar publishes an email newsletter on funding resources and philanthropy. The latest edition suggests that the current gas prices ($3.19 in Fort Wayne today)
Some 73 percent of participants said that gas prices were affecting their organizations; only 19 percent said they weren’t. The remaining 8 percent of respondents were not associated with a nonprofit.
Part of the impact is on giving but a larger part is the cost of doing business, for volunteers and for staff.
